“When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.”– Psalm 94:19
Jesus said, in this world we would have troubles. He didn’t promise to take us out of this world, or to take away our problems, but He did promise to walk with us through every valley, to catch every tear, and to comfort, guide, and help us as we trust in His Word.
When troubles come and you’re feeling anxious and afraid, talk to God. It’s not wasted words, like talking into the air. He’s really there. You gotta believe… have faith that He’s with you, listening, caring, consoling.
When anxiety is great within you, let God be your consolation and restore your peace and joy!

I thought I’d start off the new year by sharing some good news. We don’t have to worry about tomorrow, because God has already been there! That’s a very comforting thought as we begin the new year. The greater truth of the holiday is His deity. More astonishing than a baby in the manger is the truth that this promised baby is the omnipotent Creator of the heavens and the earth!” ~ John MacArthur
Dear friends, Christmastime is certainly occasion for great joy. But for many, the heart aches Continue reading “Christmas Quote of the Day”

We Thank Thee

For flowers that bloom about our feet,
Father, we thank Thee.
For tender grass so fresh, so sweet,
Father, we thank Thee.
For the song of bird and hum of bee,
For all things fair we hear or see,
Father in heaven, we thank Thee. Continue reading “A Beautiful Thanksgiving Blessing [by Ralph Waldo Emerson]”
Dwell on all things beautiful!
Sometimes thoughts come to remind us of past hurts. Those thoughts sneak in unannounced, and are unwelcome. Immediately our gaze lowers, our heart aches. Dear friends, this does not have to be… Continue reading “When The Past Still Hurts”
