Keep Your Face Towards the Sun

“Keep your face always toward the sunshine – and shadows will fall behind you.” — Walt Whitman

The weather forecast says it’s all sun today! So happy!

We all love sunny days, but sometimes the shadows from the past keep our hearts covered in gloom, and we waste a day in our life, that could have otherwise been beautiful.

Please don’t let the shadows of yesterday spoil the sunshine of today. Be positive. Be hopeful. Be at peace. Be blessed! Keep your eyes fixed on the road ahead, and on God, who dearly loves you . Take God’s hand, trust him, and let him lead you. Walt Whitman writes, “Keep your face always toward the sunshine – and shadows will fall behind you.” I couldn’t agree more. Wishing you a beautiful and blessed Sunday!

Dear God, help me to let go of the past, and keep my eyes fixed on you today. For you are my hope, and my help. Fill my heart with joy and peace as I place my trust in you. Amen
