Took this photo of my plants a few days ago, before the darn deer nibbled off the blooms! Got me thinking how life is at times. We do all we can to bloom, then something comes along to stunt our growth.
This is what they looked like after the deer got to them. Pretty discouraging . . .
Nevertheless, we must continue to trust that wherever God has placed us, is where we need to be. And no matter what comes our way, we must continue to strive to bloom, keep our face towards the sun, and trust God with tomorrow.
If you’re struggling to bloom right now, I’m praying that God will protect you and keep you, encourage your heart, and help you to bloom again. Amen 💕
“Even though the fig trees have no blossoms,
and there are no grapes on the vines;
even though the olive crop fails,
and the fields lie empty and barren;
even though the flocks die in the fields,
and the cattle barns are empty,
yet I will rejoice in the Lord!
I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!” Habakkuk 3:17-18

Leila, you are so great at finding something positive when things go wrong! I am trying to do that also. I’m a positive person, however when things happen that I can’t handle I get very upset! Thank you for all of your positivity, it makes me try harder 🐾💜

That’s so sweet Alane, thank you! I’m so happy to know are encouraged. I was upset too at first, and then saw the bright side. God is so gracious. I suppose I need to thank the deer for this sweet life lesson. Warm blessings 🐶💐💕

My hanging strawberry bush now lives in my living room…Thanks to deer. It does reflect life and how we need to stand firm. Best of luck on your book.

Ohhh I can relate. Glad you were able to save it. I’m debating replanting them closer to the house, maybe safer. Yes, good insight about standing firm, love that! Thank you for the good book wishes, so kind of you! God bless xx
