I had a dog once who was scared to cross a bridge . . .
Maybe she was unsure about what lay on the other side. Or maybe her precious paws didn’t like the feel of the worn wood. Or maybe it was the feeling of it being narrow or closed in . . .
We waited patiently and tugged ever so gently at her leash while luring her with yummy treats and lots of love and encouragement. It took awhile, but eventually she got to the other side. It seemed like such a little feat but I was jumping for joy and so proud of my precious pup! Now we could continue our journey together and I could introduce her to all sorts of wondrous sights, sounds, and smells along our hike.
There was a time that I too was scared to cross a bridge. The bridge back to God. I didn’t know or really understand what was on the other side, so I remained where I was . . . separated from God’s presence due to my sin. After years of searching for peace and fulfillment in life, I finally crossed that bridge and discovered the joy of living in God’s presence!
“You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore” ~Psalm 16:11.
Dear friend, Jesus is calling, waiting, luring you with His love. If you feel a gentle tug at your heart today, will you trust Him and walk across that bridge? Today, you can receive the joy of God’s presence within your heart and be assured of where you’ll spend eternity!
Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).

I especially loved the line ‘remained there, separated from God’s presence due to my sin’. I wish I be able to cross that bridge.
Beautifully expressed π

Hello Natasha, thank you for your kind words. We donβt have to be perfect to cross that bridge. My life was still a mess the day I crossed it. God loves you just as you are, right this very moment. May I help you cross that bridge? Please tell me, what is stopping you? Iβd love to help you ππ»

You know the moment I walk few steps towards the bridge, I feel a kind of pull from behind which stops me.
My known and unknown sins seem to be the pull

Thank you Natasha for sharing your heart with me. I would like to pray Ephesians 1:18 for you. β I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called–his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance.β May the eyes of your heart be opened today, to His unconditional love for you. We have all sinned, and always will. This is why we need Jesus Christ. Through faith in Him you can be reunited to God and experience the joy of His presence… because when He looks at you He will not see your sin, rather His pure son Jesus Christ. May the joy of Easter fill your heart dear one ππ»π Ps. God is greater than that pull. Ask Him to help you cross that bridge ππ»ππ¦

Thank you Natasha thatβs so sweet! I feel fortunate to have met you too and to share Godβs love. Romans 5:8 βGod shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.β
Romans 5:2-5 βThrough him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because Godβs love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.β ππΈπ
