Quote of the Day [for Broken Hearts]

Broken Heart

Quote of the day for broken hearts . . .

“When the Japanese mend broken objects, they aggrandize the damage by filling the cracks with gold. They believe that when something’s suffered damage and has a history it becomes more beautiful.” —Barbara Bloom

What an incredible analogy for what God does with brokenness! Focusing on the purpose of pain helps us to hang in there when feeling discouraged. God is filling the cracks of our lives with His Holy presence, refining us, and making us as pure as gold. Hang in there, dear friend. God is making something beautiful!
