Let Not Your Hearts Be Troubled

There’s so much to worry about in life. Even if your life is going well, just a quick glance at the news and social media can drag the heart down…

What I love most about faith in God is that through Jesus Christ, I can have a personal relationship and personal audience with God the Father. I can tell God every worry, and in exchange receive a peace that surpasses any peace the world can offer. If your heart is heavy today, for whatever reason, talk to God. Fix your eyes on Him, not on the things of the world, and pray.

“Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me.” John 14:1

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.Philippians 4:7

  1. Leila, I needed to read your post. My family and I are going through a rough and stressful time right and I just really needed this. I would also like to ask for my my family. Without saying to much with respect to the family I really need you and everyone else to pray for our stressful situation.

    1. Dearest Crystal, yes, I’ll pray. Thank you for reaching out for prayer. We are the body of Christ. When one weeps, we all weep. May you feel God’s comforting presence even now. Romans 15:13 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
