It’s Not The End!

Do you feel stuck in emotional or physical pain? Have you been waiting on God to offer answers or bring much needed relief?

Life is tough, there’s no doubt! But with God, we can be assured that difficult circumstances are not the end. With God, there is always hope.

Just think of the butterfly, who seems dead in her cocoon, but is actually undergoing an amazing process of transformation. At just the right time, she will break through her cocoon, discover her wings, and be set free.

In the same way, when we feel hopeless and think we are at our “end”, we are actually in a process of transformation– from broken to beautiful, from darkness to light, and from death to New Life in Christ! This process is a mystery, initiated by God and completed by God. There is no striving on our part, only joyful obedience and trust, and a willingness to surrender as God transforms our lowly state into a New Creation!

Whatever difficult situation you are facing, please be encouraged! God has not abandoned you–

“But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.” — 2 Thessalonians 3:3

With God’s help, you can get back up, face those seemingly insurmountable obstacles, and press on. “For nothing is impossible with God.” — Luke 1:37

We all face times of uncertainty, where we may feel abandoned by God or stuck in pain. But the truth is, in our difficult moments He is closer than ever. “For the LORD is close to the broken hearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.” –Psalm 34:18.

With God, there are no dead ends. There are no endless cocoons and dark places. God has a plan, and He will see it through. We just need to remember that every heartache is making us stronger, wiser, and more beautiful than we could ever imagine!

No, this is not the end …

Hope be with you!

  1. Thanks for the encouragement!
Since you mentioned the butterfly, I can’t resist sharing something I didn’t know until i was well into adulthood. I used to picture a caterpillar in the coccoon, gradually turning into a butterfly, the way a tadpole slowly turns into a frog. But the caterpillar actually turns into liquid! Then the molecules come together to form a completely different creature. It isn’t a metamorphosis, it’s a death and resurrection. We need to do more than just ask God for help. We need to ” die to self,” and let Him remake us as a “new creation.” (II Corinthians 5:17) That’s usually what I’m failing to do when I can’t handle a situation. It’s the OLD me trying to get through it on my own…not gonna happen. 😉

    1. Thank you for sharing! I was studying about the butterfly metamorphosis process but had not heard about it turning to liquid. It definitely ties in better with becoming a new creation in Christ! We definitely need to die to self, and rely on Him to remake us and resurrect us. I need to die to self daily. I’m so appreciative of your insight. So uplifting! God bless you 🙏🏻🤗💐
