A Gentle Nudge to Begin with Prayer

encouraging thoughts

“Early in the morning, O Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation.” Psalm 5:3

Dear friend, if you are struggling with anxiety, depression, or feelings of loneliness, it’s especially important to begin each day with prayer, laying your requests before the Lord. Then, all that God asks of you is to wait with an expectant heart. Expect that God will work during the day in the details of your life. He cares for you, and would do nothing less. Nothing is too difficult for God!

Do you need courage?

Do you need peace?

Do you need hope?

Begin each day with prayer. Pray, trust, wait, EXPECT . . . .

while doing this continue on with unwavering worship to God. Begin your day with Jesus, and take Him with you throughout your day through awareness, prayer, praise and worship . . . being “thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus” ( 1 Thessalonians 5:18).

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him today!

Hope be with you!
