Sometimes we just need someone to look us in the face and tell us that everything will be okay . . . “Peace is what I leave with you; it is my own peace that I give you. I do not give it as the world does. Do not be worried and upset; do not be afraid.” —John 14:27
Fear Not . . . “Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand” (Isaiah 41:10). Dear friend, while God did not promise us a trouble free life, He did promise is His presence. Take heart in that simple truth and talk to Him like He's your closest friend. He's right beside you holding out His hand. Take hold. He has promised to help you.
Trust God to move your mountain. He is able . . .
Forgiveness is not always easy to extend, especially when the wounds we've experienced run deep into the soul. That said, a little motivation and guidance wouldn't hurt! Why should we forgive others, and how exactly do we do that?
