Be Still and Know [Dog Mom Reflections]

Whenever I lounge on the sofa, my dogs instantly jump up next to me. It doesn’t take long for them to settle down and snuggle peacefully on my lap. My presence calms and comforts them, because they know how much I love them. I’m faithful to care for their every need.

Dear friend, God loves you and is caring for you, even if you aren’t always aware. Be still today (snuggle up with God) and trust him with everything that concerns you. God is with you and will help you. No need to fret or worry.

“Be still and know that I am God.” Psalm 46:10

Pause and Pray . . .

Dear God, help me to be still in your presence and trust that you will take care of me today. Amen
