In Every Leaf [Easter Blessings]

“Our Lord has written the promise of resurrection, not in books alone but in every leaf of springtime.” —Martin Luther

Dear friend, when you’re weary from lingering pain, whether emotional or physical, recall to mind the promise of our Lord Jesus Christ: “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” ( John 16:33). Jesus overcame evil through the resurrection from the dead. Through faith in Him we can find the power to overcome our trials. In Christ we have hope! When you think you can’t get through your day, just remember- Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father interceding for you. Pour out your heart to Him. You can do all things through Christ!

Easter Prayers [Great Expectation]

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for giving us NEW BIRTH into a LIVING HOPE, through the RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST, and for an INHERITANCE that can never spoil or fade, kept for us in heaven. Now we can live with GREAT EXPECTATION and HOPE in our hearts!

Now we live with great expectation, and we have a priceless inheritance — and inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay.” 1 Peter 1:3-4
