Peace in politics, is it really possible?
Imagine a world where every driver held to their own rules for the road. Or where each road had a different set of rules for drivers. There would be chaos, heartbreak, and lots of accidents. In my opinion, this is why our country is in chaos politically. Even our Constitution and Bill of Rights cannot prevent this, because even if we dissected every word, trying to come to some sort of universal definition and agreement about each word, we would still have our different views (rules for our road). For example: we can’t even agree on the definition of “life” as shown by our thoughts on abortion. The Constitution and Bill of Rights themselves allow for diversity in thought. Shock, disbelief, and fear gripped my heart! I watched helplessly as our house filled with smoke knowing that my dogs were still inside.
