You have turned my mourning into dancing; you have loosed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy! —Psalm 30:11
“Leila shared her story with some athletes at Liberty University. She is sweet, authentic, and relates well to the young women. It was a refreshing and encouraging time for all.” —Rebekah Trittipoe, Women’s Athletic Chaplain at Liberty University, Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)
A glimpse into my story . . .
“He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along.” ~ Psalm 40:2
Having gone through some major life struggles with anxiety, depression, an eating disorder, and low self-esteem, I can empathize with those dealing with emotional or physical pain. Pain broke me, but God remade me, lifted me out of the pit of despair, and gave me a newfound purpose for living— to uplift others with the comfort He shared with me. I take 2 Corinthians 1:4 very seriously—”He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others.”
I’d love to say that I no longer have struggles, but as you know, life can be tough, and the enemy of our soul is relentless. Thankfully, God has taught me how to turn my trials into triumphs through the power of praise and worship! “You turned my mourning into dancing; You removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy!” Psalm 30:11
MY VISION: To see lives transformed by Jesus Christ through the power of praise and worship!
MY MISSION: To declare and demonstrate the hope of Christ through storytelling, dance, and Creative Arts workshops.
“To know God’s redeeming love is to be forever changed. No longer do we live for ourselves, but for the One who set us free!” ~ Leila Grandemange
