Leila Grandemange is an author, encourager, and dog lover whose passion is to inspire hope, healing, and happiness, and the loving care of our furry friends! Her genuine and creative approach to communicating (i.e. using storytelling and her dogs) helps others experience faith as simple, real, and relevant to their day-to-day struggles.
Over the years, she has written numerous articles for a variety of church, community, Christian, and dog publications, such as “The Royal Spaniels Magazine” and “The Quiet Hour Devotional.” As a member of the Dog Writers Association of America (DWAA), Leila articles, books, and poems have received several award nominations. Most notably, in 2013, one of Leila’s articles received the “AKC Responsible Dog Ownership Public Service Award.” Leila has written 9 books including her latest book— Pawz and Pray: Finding Joy in the Journey with God, Family, and Furry Friends!
Formerly a professional ballet dancer, Leila earned a B.A. in Christian Education with a minor in Bible and has served in ministry for over 25 years. Leila has been invited by Pastors, worship leaders, and prominent figures such as Gloria Gaither to dance, choreograph, or teach at their church or outreach. Leila is also an avid dog lover and participates in canine sports. Leila loves all things creative and uses her background in education, the performing arts, and dog training, to point people to Jesus Christ.
Leila is a mother of two and has been married to her husband Dominique for over 25 years. When Leila isn’t writing she’s enjoying simple things like dinner time with her family, tea with friends, and walking her dogs. She’s also serves on the Evangelism Team at her church. Leila’s life motto is—Fully Loved, Forever Changed!
