Weary, weighed down, broken . . .
Covid19 has brought many to their knees. Maybe you’re reading this and feeling the weight of this pandemic. You’re longing for a warm hug and yearning to be close to loved ones. You’re wondering if you’ll make it. You’re questioning if life will ever be the same. Dear friend, I’d like to offer some very encouraging news—
God is able to mend the broken places and restore your soul!
I don’t share this lightly. I too have experienced life on my knees and traveled a broken road, and I can say with confidence— yes, God is able to mend the broken places! Trust him. Wait on him. He will make all things beautiful in his time.
I love the word by Christian singer-songwriter Babbie Mason who wrote “Trust His Heart” with Eddie Cardwell:
When you can’t trace his hand,
When you don’t see his plan,
When you don’t understand,
Trust His Heart.
Today, if you can’t see God’s hand in the mayhem, trust his heart. God is good. God is loving. God is all-knowing, all-wise, all-powerful, and more than able to mend every broken place! God sees your pain and has not abandoned you. He loves you and is working all things together for your good. He loves his children, and would do nothing less!
Hang in there. This too shall pass 🙏🏻
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; He rescues those whose spirits are crushed.” —Psalm 34:18
“He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.”—Ecclesiastes 3:11
“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” —Romans 8:28
