A Powerful Prayer for Kavanaugh and Ford

Ford and Kavanaugh, a powerful prayer…

Father in Heaven, you are merciful and kind, loving beyond our comprehension! I lift up these precious souls, Ford and Kavanaugh, whom you created and formed in their mothers womb. Hold them close to your heart today, wrap them in your loving arms, speak to them in their inward parts about what is good, lovely, right, and pure. Move them by the power of your Holy Spirit to walk in the light, even as you are in the light. Heal them, help them, and comfort them, and please do the same for all the precious souls (men and women of all ages, families, politicians, journalists…) who are so upset over the recent events. Remind us that you are Sovereign and good, and can be trusted to work all things according to your will. Help us to trust you with all our heart, and not lean on our own understanding, but in all our ways to acknowledge you– our wise, merciful and loving Father. Help us to set our hope on you, and live with joy in our heart, kindness on our lips, and love for one another. Let our prayer be, “Not my will but thine be done.”

Hope be with you!

  1. THANK YOU! I am so weary of political bickering over who is right and who is telling the truth. Truth is, only God knows people’s hearts, and we are commanded only to pray for those who are in authority. We don’t have to like them. I will continue praying for our leaders every night, as I was doing during the last administration, and putting our country in the hands of the only One who can save us.

    1. Thank you so much for sharing. Your words cut to the heart of things, it all comes down to prayer. God bless you for lifting up our leaders before God’s throne of grace. No matter who is in power, this is our call—to pray, not bicker. May God bless you 💐💕
