Mourning into Dancing!

“You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy.” – Psalm 30:11

Are you feeling sad? Be encouraged. God can turn your mourning into joyful dancing! He did it for me, and He can do it for you.

Trust Him through the valley.

Know that He LOVES YOU.

Hold onto His promises.

Praise Him in the storm!

Praise is one of the most powerful weapons against pain and heartache. It also ushers the believer right into God’s presence where fullness of joy is found! (Psalm 16:11).

If you’re feeling sad, discouraged, anxious or depressed, offer up praise! Get that praise music into the air, listen, sing along, give thanks . . . and if the urge hits you, lift your arms in worship.

I know it’s not always easy to praise God when we feel like life has knocked us down, but it’s the very thing that can lift us up! And regardless of our circumstances, God remains worthy of all glory, honor, and praise, forever and ever.

“Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior.” –Habakkuk 3:17-18 (I added bold emphasis)

“The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.” – Psalm 34:19 (I added bold for emphasis)

May you know how wide, how long, how high, and how deep God’s love is for you 💕
