A Gentle Nudge [Not to Worry]

Be anxious for nothing . . .

Hey there friends! I hope your having a sunny day. But if you’re not, and you’re feeling down for any reason, here’s a gentle nudge to encourage you. Imagine life in the arms of your Heavenly Father . . .
“Don’t fret of worry. Instead of worrying pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.” ~ Philippians 4:6-7 MSG

  1. Hi Leila. Your posts are very insightful, including the recent one, “Love’s Gentle Nudge.” Thank you for sharing it. I was wondering if you would give permission to reblog these posts (or a few of them, anyway) on my WordPress page? I noticed that you have the “reblog or share” option for Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and others, but not for WordPress. And yes, I have read your copyright notice, but I wanted to get a clarification for WordPress. Look forward to your reply. Blessings, Charles

    1. Hello Charles, thank you for your kind comment and interest in reboggling my content. When I began blogging I had the reblog button, but then my content was shared once without the person even liking or commenting, and no words to introduce the reblog or invite his readers back to my site. I was saddened, and decided to remove the button to avoid that from happening again. However I could try again, but place a little notice on my guidelines page as to how I’d like the “reblog” done. For example if a reblog was preceded by a short comment introducing it as a “reblog” with my name as the author, a sentence as to why they appreciated content, and an invitation to visit my site, then I think it would be fine. Also I like the idea of asking permission, as you did, which is very kind of you. I’m honored you’d like to share them. Give me 1-2 days to write up something and then you’ll see it posted at the bottom of my next post with a reblog button. I’ll try again, and hope it will be a positive experience this time 😊

  2. Thank you, Leila. I only reblog on occasion, but when I do, I give credit to the author/blogger and add an encouraging comment by way of introduction. If the link is not automatically included, I will add that too. I’ll wait on your updated copyright. Have a blessed day!

  3. Thanks Charles, that is very kind of you. Feel free to use what I wrote for the “reblog guidelines”. I think folks are well-intentioned, and simply don’t know how to reblog properly. This will help them. Thanks for liking my FB page. I will go check yours out as well. Blessings on your day!
