Be Anxious For Nothing [quote image]

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. —Philippians 4:6 NIV

Other translations often shed new light on the verse. here are some I love:

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.—Philippians 4:6 NLT

Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.—Philippians 4:6-7 The Message Translation

    1. True. There’s so much worry out there. I think it grieves the heart of our Lord to see us suffering, when He is waiting to hold us, and calm our fears. Thank you for commenting, it’s so encouraging to me. Love you!
