Sometimes you just have to let go, and trust……
“Letting go” can be one of the hardest things to do. And when people say, “Just let it go!” it often compounds the hurt with feelings of failure, because, well . . . letting go is really not as simple as it may seem. The painful memories and regrets often feel like they’re woven into our very being.
Thankfully, there’s hope! Our Heavenly Father promises that as we trust Him with all those things, we will find healing, happiness, and wholeness! We don’t have to understand, or have it all figured out to trust God. We just need to release all our cares into His mighty hands . . .
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” —Proverbs 3:5-6
“Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.” — 1 Peter 5:7
“It hurts to let go, but sometimes it hurts more to hold on.” – unknown
“Brothers, I do not consider myself to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and reaching forward to what is ahead, I pursue as my goal the prize promised by God’s heavenly call in Christ Jesus.” —Philippians 3:13-14
