How is it possible to be “weak”, and yet be “strong”?
Have you ever been sick, and heard the Bible verse, “For when I am weak, then I am strong”? What does that really mean? I don’t “feel” strong when I’m sick.
Flourishing Strength is one of the greatest paradox, in my mind, of Christianity. How is one “strong”, when in reality, weakness plagues us from the inside out . . . or the outside in, depending on our struggle. Yet the Bible tells us,
“For when I am weak, then I am strong” 2 Cor.12:10
What does this mean, and how does one find Flourishing Strength?
Watch this video (above) where I share a short story about Flourishing Strength, from my bed, sick with a cold, and discover the key to flourishing strength. It’s a devotional I wrote from the book, Lord Help Me To Flourish. A Coloring Devotional. The painting beautiful painting I’ll be sharing and talking about is by the co-author Nathalie Villeneuve.
I’d also like to invite you to listen to this song, “You Are My Strength”, by Hillsong, and exchange your weakness for God’s Strength . . .
Hope be with you!
